Jane Neumier

Jane was born in Alberta in 1992, but Saskatchewan has always been home for her. Jane has been dancing in a variety of disciplines since she was a young girl, studying at Leaps & Bounds Dance Studio in Churchbridge, Dance Innovations in Yorkton, Wade Dance Centre in both Russel MB and Esterhazy SK, and Dance Images in Brandon, MB. She took classical vocal training for 10 years, competing in Music Festivals in Manitoba and Saskatchewan, and advancing to Provincials in both provinces. She has taken three Royal Conservatory of Music vocal exams as well as the corresponding theory exams. Jane also attended 9 years of Choir Camp during her pre-teen and teenage years. She continued her vocal training privately after moving to Regina, and also was part of the University of Regina's Concert Choir.

In her teenage years she became involved with Vagabond Theatre Co., a community theatre based in Binscarth, MB, which encouraged her desire to pursue a career in acting. In addition to the Vagabond Theatre Co. Productions that can be found on her resume, Jane also attended two seasons of Summer Arts Adventure Camp at Vagabond Theatre Co. and returned to counsel Elementary School aged children for a third year.

She went on to continue her exploration of Theatre at the University of Regina before setting her sights on George Brown College Theatre School in Toronto, Ontario, where she graduated in Spring 2020. One of her proudest moments at George Brown was attaining her Fight Director's Canada Basic Actor Combatant certification with Distinction. Since returning to Saskatchewan, she has been working on developing new works, and learning stage management skills by volunteering with a local community theatre troupe. In 2024, she founded Correction Line Productions in order to produce her newly written play, Princess, Prince, Etc.. She also directed and co-produced this production as part of the 2024 Regina International Fringe Festival.

Jane was involved with the Saskatchewan 4-H program for ten years, completing a variety of projects, and assisting leaders with teaching the younger members' projects as well. She enjoyed being president of her club for multiple terms and passing on her knowledge to the next generation of 4-H members. She served a two-year term as the South-East region's representative on the Saskatchewan Member Advisory Council between 2010 and 2012. In the Autumn of 2011 she was honoured to be part of the team of Saskatchewan Delegates sent to the National 4-H Conference Science Symposium in Toronto. Jane's favourite 4-H activity was Public Speaking. Over the years, Jane competed in 26 Public Speaking competitions at all levels. Her highest achievement was winning the South-East Regional Public Speaking competition in 2013.

Jane often carries around a camera with her and enjoys taking photos of beautiful things that inspire her.
